General Information on Powder Coatings

Powder Coatings are hard, solvent-free coating materials. After their application to specific substrates, the powder coatings are melted by a heating process. This allows the chemicals to be cross-linked, resulting in strongly adhesive layers. A powder recuperation mechanism allows our products to reach an efficiency factor of up to 98%.

Like most coating-treatments, powder coatings have two primary functions: one decorative, one functional.

Decorative Aspect:

  • Color
  • Shine
  • Gradient/Structure

Functional Aspect:

  • Mechanical Resistance
  • Corrosion Resistance
  • Weather Resistance
  • Chemical Resistance
  • Electro-isolation
